John Custer came to me with an unusual request one day...  He wanted me to cut together some instances of Pepper making interesting vocal sounds.  It turns out there was a hole in the music between the verses and the choruses, and John wanted to fill it with some sort of punctuation.  We tweaked the "Pepperisms" with compressors, heavily notched EQs, choruses, reverbs and even a Mesa Boogie amp in Amp Farm.

What you hear here is the end result of that... It's as unique a sound as anything you are likely to hear!
