Notes:

A couple of years before recording this tune, the band enrolled Warren Haynes (Allman Brothers and Government Mule) in tracking several slide guitar parts for it.  Those tracks were archived at Sony Music until we had tracked all the other parts.  When the DAT arrived with Warren's parts, something became painfully clear... We had recorded the entire song in a different tempo, with a different ending.  The band was committed to having Warren's parts in the song, so I spent about 24 hours time-compressing all the track we recorded to match Warren's tracks.  Once this was accomplished, I had to creatively edit the ending to match what Warren played... his ending was magnificent, and I ended up adding some chorus parts at the end and massaging them so it didn't sound like a cut-and-paste job.

I am very proud of the end result, and the song has had international acclaim!
